The future of Whistleblowing
To celebrate our 30th Anniversary, Protect will host for the first time a full-day conference, ‘The Future of Whistleblowing’. Our conference will reflect on how far whistleblowing has come, discuss the meaning of whistleblowing in the current climate, look at what legal, regulatory or very practical ideas have been successful, and assess what lies for whistleblowing.
Join us on the 5th October 2023 at Linklaters offices, to hear from thought leaders, inspiring whistleblowers, innovative practitioners, academics, regulators and MPs. We are delighted to confirm Lubna Shuja (President of the Law Society for england and Wales), Tas Booker (Director of when We Speak), Zelda Perkins (blew the whistle on Harvey Weinstein and Founder of Can’t Buy My Silence) and Helen Evans (former Head of Safeguarding at Oxfam and former UK Whistleblower of the Year) are amongst some of the esteemed speakers joining us.
What can you expect from the day? Engaging panel discussions, dynamic debates, thought-provoking speakers and a screening of the eye-opening whistleblowing documentary ‘When We Speak’. We hope to see you there.
