Essentials 7'' Thimble for SDV Wall Unit

Use this thimble to pass through a fuel and masonry wall in a fireplace. It is sold in two parts, the thimble cover and the thimble assembly itself – both are required. You need a thimble for assembly per installation. The thimble cover assembly protrudes 13" into the room. You can use one or two thimbles, depending on the thickness of the fuel wall. A single, 8" long thimble will pass through a 7' wall. You can Go through a wall up to 15" thick if two thimbles are put together with Cement Stove and Gasket Cement. Thimbles can be cut shorter with a hacksaw to get the desired length. Thimble requires a 15" or 17" square The opening for use with 6" or 8" diameter pipe, respectively.
